We know it’s not Thursday, but we can’t help but to highlight a few of our favorite tutorials and creations of the week.

So without further adieu, here are some of favorite Workshop and creations built by our dedicated LBP members.

Featured Workshops

How to make a zipline

Need a zipline transporter for your SackBoy?  Gians2007 shows us how it’s done in his step-by-step video on creating a SackBoy hanging zipline.

Animation

A highly creative level and video created by SubGnosis, be sure to check out his two dimensional animation built in LBP.  We especially like how much detail he goes into with breaking down the creation process.

LittleBigCounter

Another masterful creation using switches and emitters in LBP, similar to the infamous LittleBigComputer, tuxsbro puts his own spin by building a counter that counts up or down and stops and 0 and 00.

Level / Objects

Top 10 ways to die – Episode 4

As much as we hate to see SackBoy be burned, electrocuted or explode, we can’t help but be humored for ChilledChaoz video collection of Top Ten ways to die.

LittleBigHome

One of the most detailed level to date within LittleBigWorkshop, X-NOBODY-X takes his Street Fighter – Chun-Li costume on an adventure through his LittleBigHome, filled with trapped doors and hidden surprises.

Elemental Temples

We love micro-levels, especially ones that are driven with a story and focus.  Stuber presents a set of five micro-levels on four different elements.  Battle your way through the first four levels to gain mastery and use it to defeat the Great Temple.  Truly awesome!

Hey all try my level, 9to5 I just published it after testing it a few times with buddies. It's a construction based level with a compactor, front end loader, big dumptrucks and a couple of surpises. Not really sure where else to post this?!

We've noticed a lot of groups starting to form within the community and absolutely love the 'sharing'.  So much we've decided to highlight these 'forum activities' every so often on our News Site.

The first one, brought to you by Sancor is the LBP Review League - a group of people formed from the LBP community that reviews, scores and filters other people’s levels / creations.  Reviews are written on the level’s thread, and given a rating based on a “10-Star Levels” system.  The top rated levels of each week is then rewarded with the “Outstanding Levels of this week”, and shared with the LBP community; supported with screenshots, score and an in-depth detailed review of the level.

The user is also able to easily find any current or past creations by selecting the “Review LINK” within any of the linked Categories; including Racing, Platform, Mini-Game, Themed, Story, Boss, Sports, Puzzle, Musical, and Hard Levels.

Reading all the creations and comments posted within The Promotion Zone forum, we are truly amazed with the amount of effort and time the LBP community has devoted to not just building and sharing levels, but also create their own review board to rank each others creation.

So Create On!  We’ll be keeping a close eye on the next biggest creation to be crowned “Outstanding Levels of this Week”

We’re confident you’ve seen it!  It’s one of the most popular and viewed LBP videos on the LittleBigWorkshop, and it definitely caught our attention.  Brought to you by, Jemi-maru, the LittleBigDance video featured multiple SackBoys outfitted in various costumes, rocking out and dancing to various tunes.  We also thought the range of backgrounds used throughout the video was highly creative.  It’s one of the most inspirational videos we’ve seen with SackBoy.

Jemi-maru has also created other LBP videos including Fable of Souls and as featured in our Spotlight in yesterday’s post – How to make a wall climbing / jumping vehicle

Great Job, Jemi-maru! We’d love to see what other LBP videos you can create!

Now after watching Jemi-maru’s LittleBigDance video, it has us wanting more, and we’d love to see what else you guys can come up with in making your own LBP dance video.  You are open to use a combination of created objects, backgrounds, and your own outfitted SackBoy.  We can't wait to see them.
