Welcome to the new LittleBigPlanet News Site - your destination for anything LBP.

Our goal is to keep you up to date with the latest LBP goodness either direct from Media Molecule, Sony Computer Entertainment, or from you, the community. Since we revealed LittleBigPlanet at the 2007 Game Developers Conference, the team has been working hard - creating the game, touring to game events and conducting interviews with our favorite press - and as we reach the homestretch its time to make time for our fans. Our LBP fans have made so many amazing tributes to LittleBigPlanet, and we'd like to share what we see and know with everyone. So stay tuned for categories like "LBP 101," "SackBoy in the news," "LittleBigChallenges" and much, much, more...

For now, the news site will keep you informed, educated and hopefully excited about our release in October, but eventually, our website will evolve into something much bigger and better to support our community of Players, Creators and Sharers.

Finally, this site is as much yours as it is ours, so let us know what you want to hear about and we'll keep you constantly posted with new things from both PlayStation and Media Molecule.

This is awesome!!!
I can't wait for the game guys. And to whoever wrote that the steep learning curve was bad, I don't plan on this being a play-once-then-put-down game. I'm giving up FPS's for this thing, so I'm dedicating a lot of time to it when it comes out. A steep learning curve will, therefore, give me the advantage, wahahaha!!!

I lack creativity. But I just can't resist LBP. Looks great, I'm sure it's gonna play great, and it will be a blast playing online/offline with friends. I hope there will be a Plush Sackboy available to buy (like a 12+" one) or a miniature one that comes with a pre-order. Can't wait!

LittleBigPlanet is going to rock! I've followed this game since it's debut at GDC 07! It's been a long time but it's finally almost time to get the game into my ps3 and spend so many hours playing and creating levels with my friends! Bring it on!

P.S. Bring the feature of import stickers from Hard Drive please! Someone on the playstation blog said it's only possible with the PsEye. why? can't be legality issue since we can still take a picture of it. so what's the deal?

I wonder when they're going to reveal the big announcement... The one where Alex Evans said "People will be saying, 'I thought it was this - now you're telling me it's this as well?!'" I can't wait and thank you for the site. It's getting hectic not knowing when LBP news is true or not.. LBP Rules!

WOW incredibly excited about this one ..Seems like this will be a good family game ...MY wife is getting really happy ,she can not wait to see all the options and ways to put together levels .(SHE'S AN ARTIST )and I can't wait to see all the crazy levels and content the PLAYSTATION COMMUNITY puts together. Great site I can't wait for LBP but since it's as much our site as it is yours Tong i'll start with a question that lots of people really want to know: Can you import pictures from your HDD drive on your PS3 or do you NEED a PS Eye?

No word on the HDD picture import yet (That I've heard). What I'm thinking is that it would be cool to draw an image on paper, import it onto an object and trace around with an eraser tool. Basically creating your own homemade stencils.

The EYETOY being mandatory is just an ugly rumor, don't worry. I've spent a lotta time as a texture artist, hehe.. I cant wait to sink my teeth in... I'm so hyped....

hmm... being too hyped can lead to disappointment.. OkOk, this game will be worse than superman 64... NOW I can be blown away at LBP's launch. .........

Needs a LBP Community site so we can share levels or show off levels for those that may not have the game and want to know more about it. while we are talking about that how about trying to allow the youtube feature where we can record our gameplay and show it off to others. it would be great for a LBP community site similar to Sing Star website. Wink
