Absolutely incredible to see the range of various creations you guys have submitted and shared since we first started the LittleBigChallenges.  So, carrying on the tradition of LittleBigChallengesFriday, your challenge this week…

LittleBigChallenge 005 - Wallpapers

Here’s your chance to set a permanent mark in the LBP Community?  We’re looking for imaginative and creative wallpaper designs to pimp out your computers.  Give it your best shot to create your own LittleBigPlanet wallpaper in 1920x1080 scale and send it to us at playstation_community_support@playstation.sony.com. Media Molecule will then pick the Top 20 wallpaper designs and will provide them as exclusive downloadable on LittleBigPlanet.com.

So CREATE away.  There are no limitations to this contest, so feel free to submit more than one design to increase your chances.  Be sure to also post your creation to our favorite photo sharing site flickr and remember to tag your logo image with "LittleBigChallenge #005" so the LBP community can view them as well.

The closing date for all entries is Friday, October 3rd 2008 at 11:59 PST.

are icons still the same size and spaced apart same from say 1440x900 res to 1920x1080? like could I print screen my 1440x900 desktop to get the icon size and spacing for 1920x1080? Any help here would be hot. Thanks

I needed a screenshot so I could line up the popit so the icons would fit in it well without going over the edges or whatever. So all your desktop icons could go in the popit. Thanks for lettin me know tho Laughing

Heres an example. I wanted the 1920x1080 one to work like this 1440x900 one i made for my cmputer but my comp doesnt go to 1920x1080 so i dont know how well it'll all line up.

Hey Yensooo, now I see what you meant Wink

I don't have my desktop set up on my tv (I use it as my enlarged desktop, so no icons on it) but if I may make a suggestion, your pop-it wallpaper would bake a neat background for the ps3. I poped it on mine (lol, just realised I made a pun Tong) last night and it looks good, but mis-aligned to the XMB icons. If you could center it to the main vertical bar of icons then it would be pretty cool! Here I just edited your wallpaper with a red pop-it window to show you exactly where it would look best htt

I don't wanna sound dumb, but what do I need to use to make a wallpaper? I downloaded the kit, but what now?

I suppose I should have mentioned that EVERYONE is welcome to participate in my contest at http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/ It's a great opportunity to spread your wallpapers to a lot of interested PS3 owners!

hawknelson, everyone has to start somewhere, so don't worry about how you sound Wink Basically, use what's in the kit, or use whatever else you want (anything really) to make a wallpaper! You can use, Photoshop, Gimp or even Paint. Those are all good programs to use to make wallpapers. Just remember to keep the dimentions at 1920 x 1080 pixels.
