LittleBigChallenge 006 - Buddy Icons

What’s Friday without LittleBigChallenges =)

Your challenge this week, if you choose to accept (I couldn’t help myself), is to create your own SackBoy or SackGirl Buddy Icons.  Simply download the Buddy Icon package, and create your own favorite Budd Icon within a 100x100 pixel frame.  Feel free to CREATE any type of icons you’d like; animated, stills, text only, etc. as there are no limitations to this contest.  

As with the Wallpaper challenge, submit your designs to playstation_community_support@playstation.sony.com, and Media Molecule will pick the Top 20 Buddy Icons and provide them as exclusive downloads on LittleBigPlanet.com.

Interested?  Then CREATE on, and don’t forget to use flickr to share your creation with your fellow LBP members.  

The closing date for all entries is Friday, October 3rd 2008 at 11:59 PST.

the download says it's the buddy icon but when it's done it comes up as the print ad challange with the pictures from that is tgis because i have a mac or is this happening to anyone else.. please help

@viva_la_sackboy, it is a repackaged .zip file. Don't worry. We all got it. It's pretty much the generic art for all the contests now. Create away! Wink

Also. Are we to submit only one or follow the "no limitations" line? I'm confused by the post. Brain is fried from todays events.

Yeah, it's crazy how these beta keys are being handled. Either limit it to a very small amount of people (so we don't feel so left out, just underpriviledged) or release it as a "demo" so we can all try. The whole "stressing the servers" notion that everyone has been saying would be better addressed with a full public demo/beta. How are you really going to know if the servers can handle this stress if you serious limit the amount of users? hhmm.....

I'd like to pre-order, but haven't seen any mention in Canada or at Best Buy or Futureshop about pre-orders for LBP yet.
