CONGRATULATIONS!  

With over 2000 posts in less than an hour, you guys have successfully crashed another LBP beta sign up page. =) Well done!  

To prevent the site from further traffic issues, the “TGIM – Public Beta Access” post is now officially locked. Don’t forget- If you had participated in one of the LittleBigChallenges, you may be one of the lucky ones to have been invited into the public beta already. Be sure to check you inbox in the next 2 days.

For those of you who weren't able to post in time, no worries, October 21st is right around the corner, you will all be playing, creating, and sharing soon enough.

yeah, I love checking the site every 10 mins for 8 hours, then having it go up, getting a page to load about 4 times while there was room, and having the submitbutton be broken, and the site crashing preventing me from qualifying. 3 weeks of unemployed boredom for me.. WOO HOOO!

I have been reading on allot of messages boards there are allot of people that posted multiple times or ones that did not qualify. So there might be a chance for people that were past the 1000 mark

This whole mess ****** me off. I couldn't wait any longer and am glad I stopped when I did. Since when does freakin 5:30pm count as ...Monday... They totally screwed with so many people today, it is truly a horrible, disgusting issue.

It was absolutely RIDICULOUS! you were well aware the servers were going to crash sooner or later...i clicked the 'SUBMIT' button around the 450 posts but it wouldn't be submitted....really shameful.

So lame... I take off work and wait here all day in hopes of getting a key, and the site crashes until I finally get post ~1200. People are running around with 5 codes selling them on ebay while your true fans are stuck refreshing 5 different sites trying to win a beta... Thanks a lot Media Molecule.

woohoo....i took off work today "vacation day"....carried my laptop around the house all day...was here the second it updated...and then it crashed for 2 hrs...nice day.....blah.

And seriously guys come on. Its not their fault that people swarmed the servers and it crashed. Look at me I've been following this game since it was first annouced and i didnt get in there before 1000 other people did and im not mad. Beta access should be given to those who preorder, not those who happen to stroll onto a site at exactly the right time. It's not fun refreshing 5 different sites trying to win a beta key while people are running around with 5 selling them on ebay (or trading for PSN games).

This is total BS

The site was down while the comment count surpassed the 1,000 mark.

I have a 60 gig launch model PS3 which I bought during a rather desperate time for Sony, and I have had all 3 playstation systems to date and let alone the fact that they are treating Canadian users like crap by not releasing PSN cards, but they don't even give EVERYONE a chance.

You guys should have seen the traffic coming, you should have enforced the servers to the very least.

I think I got very lucky. If you view this site in linux with firefox, there is a white boarder near the top. It blocks the login... so up untill today I did not know you could log in with your PSN account... So happy I had Vista on my PC also(Never though I say that..) I posted somewhere around the 900 mark.

I got in, and to the people who have been saying that they deserve it, and have been refreshing 5 pages all day... So Have I! Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes, well, the bar eats you. There's no reason to be upset at Media Molecule. There are still quite a few sites giving out keys.

I am really sick of seeing people complain about it not being fair that they didn't get a code. Lifes not fair. Everyone can't be rich. everyone can't win the lottery. Everyone can't get the Little Big Planet beta. Not matter how the beta distribution would have been handled, people would have complained that it wasn't fair.
