Yes. It’s finally Monday!
We know a lot of you have lost countless hours of sleep,
school, work, and possibly your significant other in search of the
LittleBigPlanet Public Beta. For the past week, the public beta madness has
turned up everywhere. A selected few that were relentless in their search for
the public beta were fortunate enough to receive a voucher code and take part of
the experience. For those that are still looking, the question remains…
“HOW DO I GET ON THE LITTLEBIGPLANET PUBLIC
BETA?!?!”
First off, to be eligible for the LittleBigPlanet Public
Beta, you must meet the following requirements:

You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must be a residence of North America or Canada
- You must have a PLAYSTATION®Network Account
- You must own a PLAYSTATION®3
If you meet all the requirements above, read on:
First we are giving some love to participants of the
LittleBigChallenges. As a "Thank You" for all the love and creativity you have
shared with us, we’ll be sending out public beta voucher keys to a random
selection of LittleBigChallenge participants. So if you have ever taken part in
a challenge, be sure to check your email inbox within the next 48hrs. You might
have received a special priority invite from us.
For the rest of you LBP fans, here’s how you can obtain
your voucher code:
Be the first 1000
people to comment on the “TGIM… Public Beta Access” POST and we’ll provide a
voucher code within 48hrs.
Please do not
post more then once as it will not increase your chances, or additional voucher
codes. Only ONE voucher code per PSN ID.
As for the ones
that didn’t meet the qualifications or signups for the public beta, don’t
despair; you’re only a few short weeks from the October 21st release
date of LittleBigPlanet.
If you were one
of the lucky individuals to be eligible for the public beta, please refer to the
following instructions below which will help you install the voucher
code:
- Public Beta Ends October 11th, 2008
- You must use a consumer PLAYSTATION® 3 system
that is connected to the internet.
- You
must have a PLAYSTATION®Network Account.
- If you have previously redeemed a LBP voucher code, you must delete
any old LBP data (along with save data and game data) and download this
version (go to Download History and redownload the new code).
- This version does not require a DNS redirect
and levels created here will be available for consumers at launch of the full
title.
- Please refrain from creating
anything inappropriate, as we do have moderation in place and it may result in
your account being suspended or banned.
Downloading the LittleBigPlanet Public Beta.
After
you have signed in with your PLAYSTATION Network Account, select [Account
Management] on the XMB interface located under the ‘PLAYSTATION Network’ tab,
then select [Transaction Management] and click on the option ‘Redeem PLAYSTATION
Network Card or Promotion Code’. Enter the following unique code to start the
download of LittleBigPlanet.
