The past week+ has been a crazy one for our News Site, and by looking at the hefty amount of comments its been a crazy one for our fans.  There were over 7,000 unique commenters on the site, and after all was said and done over 5,000 of you met the criteria to participate in the beta.  When choosing people for exclusive opportunities like a beta we look for people who are 18+ years old, have a PSN account in the US, and have opted-in for marketing materials (under Notification Preferences in PSN Account Management.)

BTW...some of your beta levels are truly amazing!!!



So...with more announcements and exclusive offers in the works... Keep voicing your thoughts and comment away and, more importantly, be sure you're "opted-in" to receive marketing materials from us, because there WILL be future announcements and exclusive offers down the line....

I've been playing the beta since Friday and I haven't been able to put it down. There are some really creative people out there. I can't believe the stuff that they come up with. Keep up the good work.

These videos are amazing... and just making me drool even more. I am sure everyone has seen the "Little Bigass Dragon" one already, right? It was just... well... EPIC.

I have yet to get a beta code, but I am praying to the LBP gods that I get one this time. It is a shame to get it now, though, and lose it on the 11th... but I definitely understand the logic behind it.

{Grin} Give a few thousand people one of the most amazing experiences since bungee jumping naked (don't knock it until you try it), and then take it away again for almost two weeks. People will be clawing down the stores come the 21st to get their copies.

Love the beta, but do you guys think you could implement some type of "new arrivals" page or "top 10 levels" page just so it could be easier to find the more popular planets? Can't (but I have to) wait for the full game!
