For those that have locked themselves in their rooms, threw away their cell phones, and lost all contact with the world since taking part of the Beta Test, you may have missed the "Making Fun" trailer exclusively on GameTrailers.com

 

In this trailer you can clearly see that in LittleBigPlanet, whatever you imagine can be built…and played.  

Robots of Doom?  
Army Men Dropships?   
Bulldozers of Destruction?  

You name it, it can be done.  All you need is your imagination and a little help from the SackBoys!

In other LBP news, as some of you may have read from the PLAYSTATION Blog this morning, Sony announced at Tokyo Game Show that Metal Gear Solid's own Snake (well "Old" Snake if you want to get specific) and Sephiroth of Final Fantasy 7 fame have just joined the ranks of amazing titles that are now part of the LittleBigPlanet family.

I had just seen this on gametrailers, but the whole Snake and what'shisname costumes having really got me excited, but I especially can't wait for the "I was there for the launch" astronaut outfit!

You guys keep us on the edge of our seats and make us want to run out to the game store even though its not there yet, But I still like it that you keep us on the loop of what the game will have when it releases.

setheroth looks F'ing awesome! snake looks cool too but he doesn't fit as well as a sackboy as setheroth does. do know what else would be awesome. a chimera from Resistance. think chimera sackboy. that would be funny.

I can't wait for this game. I plan to make an extremely detailed level. i have so many ideas and it kills me because I can't play it Frown the 21st seems to be so far away. I was wondering if you can mold your own costumes on to your sackboy using the tools or if you have to import or choose from a list of already made costumes? It would be so awesome to mold your sackboy the way you want.

I've given up getting a beta code, as I live in Australia, however I am pre-odering the only bonus we can get down here, the Kratos one! Everything looks amazing for this game, and I really can't wait. In my opinion, this can really become the PS3's break, and Sackboy may possibly become the PS3's mascot, just like Crash was all those years ago when the PSX was around.

This game isn't going to be the game of the year... is going to be the game of the DECADE... this little Big Thing is going to be the beginning of a VideoGame era. I think that its like the Lego did with toys, that ability of gaming and playing as you want to...
You imagine, then build, then play, then modify, then play again... contemplate it... show it to the wolrd, modify it again, play it again until it gets perfect for you... and then... start another one to surpass your past creation... and so on. I can't imagine how many hours and days I'll spend in this game... I need to confess that this game scares me 'cause its the only real thing that can approach to my dreams... I'm going to stop babbling now... See you at the next little big hing!!!

Sephiroth is soooo ownage. I haven't even played FFVII, and have only played a bit of crisis core, but Sephiroth is so awesome. And Sackiroth (as I shall henceforth refer to this as) is just awesome.






I can't wait to put bouncy pink stars and boingy-eyeballs all over him.

I know i'm late oon saying this but I have been preoccupide..thnkas Daishogun for making me depressed(I miss crashes old days) but that also gives me a good idea........CRASH BANDICOOT SACKBOY!!!!!! YAY!!!!!
On another note, I hope i will be able to buy this game when it comes out, thankfully i have a job on the 18th so I'm saving my money from that to buy it.

I heard that in Japan when you simply buy the game you get a voucher code for Piposaru (Piposaru is the name of the brainwashed monkeys from the Ape Escape series)
Too bad we're not getting those here =/

However, I sincerely hope that we get some Ratchet & Clank or some Jak & Daxter costumes.

Come on! am i the only person who wants a chimera (from Resistance) sackboy! that would be one funny costume and awesome one too!

There are a buch of other people that i'm sure would be a awesome sackboy but as far as i know They will only put in people that are on PS1,2,3, and PSP consoles. they should make a poll for who the next charater should be Smile

Altair is the main character of Assassin's Creed

Now that all you lot mention it, I agree that his costume would be a great addition to the LittleBigPlanet world. Since we can use his costume on MetalGearSolid4 (I have it!) I honestly believe that he may be the next LBP character ;D

Hey guys, I just realized that Far Cry 2 comes out Oct. 22

Talk about a release date sneaking up on me, now I've gotta juggle between LBP or FC2.

My question is, were does one go to get all these new characters? Is there going to be an online store? Does the game come with an access point to look online. (I don't know I didn't get a beta code :-( message me @ PS3 if you wanna send me one) I think I need a sack (sick day pun) day on the 21st... can't wait.

Why do I now have one-winged angel running through my head...? A sephiroth sackboy is certainly another way to make sephiroth clones, minus the jenova cells...
