Ok guys,

With about two weeks left until the big launch, we wanted to finalize the info for pre-orders and sum it up for you in one nice neat package...

First off, the main reason you want to pre-order is to make sure you're online with us for the free, limited edition, week one only, 'I was there for Launch' SpaceSuit SackBoy costume.  This is a fair and final warning - we don't want to see any sob stories on our News Site / Forums, and we promise not to give you the "I told you so" line (but we'll be thinking it on every post) :)



Secondly, with so many great pre-order items from our retail partners, why wouldn't you pre-order to bet bonus stuff.  



From stickers, pouches, strategy guides, and in-game costumes, there is something for everyone.  Please feel free to visit our retailer sites to get more details...

Dude i have like everything pre ordered and question if i pre ordered Kratos in like the middle of september, will i still get minitaur and medusa and what about the awsome space suit! i want that to how does that work. Cant wait for launch! X)

So you guys have absolutely nothing to say to the people who've been patiently waiting for the beta code you promised in the post "More LBP Beta Love"?

Or even to those people that posted as one of the first thousand commenters?

That doesn't sit right with me. If you guys are just going to full out ignore it, that's kinda childish.

If maybe we all read it wrong, then please explain what was meant. But at LEAST acknowledge it.

Beta codes been given out on numerous sites... they tried there best to give the codes out... if you've been wanting beta for this game, you would of done the homework to look for them everyday... I did and I was lucky.

Pretty sure they going to put out a demo for this one, would definitely bring in lots more people to buy this awesome game. Don't know if its before or after but imo before would be better strategy, but thats up to Sony.

I have to look at my Nariko code again, if its possible to give to 4 other ppl (5 total) willing to trade my code with someone for Kratos, want the beard and weapon...LOL

Any word on pre-order goodness from Australian retailers?

I understand that EB Games have Nariko, but I've pre-ordered through JB Hifi and want to be sure there is something in it for me. ;-)

Why wouldn't your friends buy it first to get the free stuff too?? I could probably do that too since I am getting the game for free at BB and then ebay it.... just a scam for the industry to sell more copies...

@OniBlaze: I highly doubt that. Same way you can look items you create, so the only way people can get it is to play YOUR level, is probably the way they are going to lock the preorder content.

They should have made the beta like a demo instead.... I'm curious, is there a place that you can go to see the number of pre-orders already made for this game vs. other games that have pre-ordered in the past? That would be kinda cool to see.... looking but no luck.

I'm bummed I cant get into the beta.
I'm sort of on the fence about this game, and the beta would cement the pre-order if I think the game is worth it?

The video's dont really look "fun" but just great looking.

Look at games stops website for how they will distribute the codes... via email if ordered online or picked up at the store if bought in store. Looks like you get three costumes if you buy from them.

The sticker ate my kratos code as i peeled it away. Oh well, no big deal. I just wanted a preorder to make sure I got this game as soon as possible. Anyway the space suit is something I would actually use more than the Kratos parts.

Not so bitter about missing the Beta, the 21st will be like Christmas morning without having peeked at my presents.

Hello everyone,

I got my pre-ordered kratos at EB games today but I'm having problems redeeming the promotional codes. On the card that I received it said that I need to go to http://us.playstation.com/LBPcostume/ to registered the code. I try going there and it says that the site does not exist anymore. Does everyone have this problem aswell or is it just me? HELP!!!

Gamestop has some newly added extra costumes and stuff. Is that all going to be on the single code sheet that lists only Kratos or is there now a new one to replace the old one? Also what happened to the "I was there 1st week t-shirt?"

anyone who is wondering, the game delivers - if any of the elements of play,create, share in this playful wold of LBP appeal to you, then the pre-order is worth it.
i can't stop playing the beta. all day long, i think about stuff i can do in the level editor, and look forward to seeing new levels and unlocking new stuff.
the game-play is very fun. classic and modern at the same time. it could just be a wacky physics platformer and be a success.
but it's so much more.

what i'm confused about is how i actually get my special pre-order gifts. the employees of the game-stop i've pre-ordered from respond with an "eh?" when i ask them about it.

Where is <b>Australia's</b> share of all the pre-orders?
I wanted to get the guide(which I know will probably come out later), and I know the kratos is available at EB Games Australia but where do I get the Nariko costume without pre-ordering from a different country?

Australians have been put aside for lots of things, and I know that isnt SCEA's fault, but when are we going to get more love?

Bah i spent alot of time drawing out and scaning and stuff for my sackboy costume to find out they allready have a space suit costume for sackboy! BLAH... oh well im still glad there is gonna be a space suit costume ^^

OMG. I finally found Kratos cards left at a EB (a few other EBs had no more). And guess what happens? I peel off the code (I know I don't need it yet), and it RIPS OFF! So I have not even half the code, the rest of it is stuck on this piece of tape, and I'm worried about how can I get it off? If I put this tape in water, the paper might disintegrate, and the code along with it. I don't know what to do! I doubt EB will let me have another one. Do you think MM will help me get a new code?

Because Australians only get one bonus item and with almost 2 weeks left I highly doubt we'll get anything more. Theres no plush sackboy or even a limited edition, I'll prolly wait a couple more weeks before even considering buying this thing when the real reviews are out.

Dying, just return to the store for help. They will replace it. Amazon was offering a limited edition creator's guide but it seems to be sold out. Best Buy is now sold out of their outfit offer, at least the site is. I have Best Buy, EB Games codes in-hand and my Amazon creator guide coming along with the game on 10/21 with free release date delivery. Check eBay for those out of the country or can't pre-order. People are selling them.

Also, MM, I hope you will help clear up the confusion about the God of War 3x costumes and sticker pack, now suddenly available at Gamestop. I want to know, 1) Does Canada also get that at our local EBgames when we get the physical card (which just says Kratos on it), and 2) at Gamestop online, do you only get the preorder bonus NOW, or also if you previously preordered it when it said it was just Kratos?

Cause I was only semi interested in Kratos, but those other costumes are BADASS! I need them!!! lol

"we don't want to see any sob stories on our News Site" - especially from the people who got lied to about the beta.

...Still can't wait for the game... though Sony has tried their best to remove my excitement.
