I love how it was nominated for all the categories that people actually care about. I'm willing to bet it gets Best Soundtrack, I have almost every song stuck in my head and they are constantly hummed throughout the day. Not sure why the category is called "Best Performance by a HUMAN male" as if we needed to be reminded it was not an animal, or alien that voiced the narrator but Stephen Fry. Anyone know what the shows that the Sackboy is wearing in this update? I only have Cowboy Boots and those weird leather ones. Neither of which I like.

Not only will this game not win in any catagory it should not have even been nominated.

The Hype of this game has worn off.

From its poorly executed online issues during its release week which still to this day seems to be a problem.

To the Over Moderated / Deleted User Creations.

The focus on CASHING in on DLC costumes before fixing the real problems of this game.

The LIES about PRE-ORDER DLC. Where is our Free T-Shirt

The Region Lock on DLC and the fact other countries are given exclusives.

The Bold Statement MM is working on LBP2 knowing that LBP is suffering from all of the above issues.

The Devs of this company will crash like the US economy.
This game blows and if any awards are due ... it would be the ...
"Garbage of the Year" award. which follows as.....

Ray your are a moron, get your Xbox Fanboy-ism out of our LBP.

1. It should not win any category? What about the great, catchy soundtrack and Stephen Fry's hilarious voice over as the Narrator?

Was the hype of the game ever the DLC? The hype of the game was the creativity of the levels and and customization of the costumes. Nobody is forcing you to buy the DLC, it's just a weekly optional thing that does not in any way make or break the game.

People knew full well beforehand that Copyright levels would be deleted, granted most of the levels recently deleted had no copyright material, which I clearly recognize as a huge mistake, you have no idea why said levels were "Good Griefed" and deleted. Even with the knowledge that copyright material would be deleted people made levels such as Indiana Jones and Batman that was there fault.

What the hell is your issue? MM is doing their best to get online working as well as possible. Online issues happen with a lot of games, especially when there is so much to be placed on the servers. Just think, we have the millions of players and all of their levels that they have created, coupled with being able to play with one another across the world on these levels. Not only do the servers have to be able to hold up for online co-op, but they also have to support these levels while you are playing them online.

The DLC is not even something to worry about. You don't need it. Your life will go on. The game is no different without it - try being creative and make your own costume combination. You CAN use stickers and decorations on your character you know. Regional Locks on DLC - stop bitching, do you thing any other country got the exclusive pre-order DLC? No, just the US. MM has to compensate somehow, so they are doing the same that they did for the US and allowing other countries to get their hands on exclusive content.

MM you are doing an amazing job on LBP. Keep up the good work and ignore nimrods like this. There are bound to be a few of them, but I honestly can't find one word to criticize this amazing game. I can't wait to see how you guys make this game better over the coming months!

Ray Z Ray... you're an idiot. welcome to it...

I for one think the moderators aren't doing enough deletion, especially when it comes to how many horrible and crummy levels are user generated and published without thought of gameplay and style... after all, it's only one level that's within the outcry of deletion because Azure Palace is still in the cool levels...

DLC before fixing the problem?... really?.. they were trying to fix the servers before we even got to see the DLC, so if that's not the problem.. what is?... is it the Free T-Shirt?... cause if that's the problem, you need to sit in a corner and think good and hard about what a jackhole you're being...

And really?... OH NO, other countries are getting exclusives... isn't that a horrible double standard? are you really trying to make it that only the U.S. should have exclusive content? that's pretty harsh.

as for LBP2, I for one am looking foward to a it, especially if they can work on the way Sackboy moves, imagine a game where you can wall jump on grabbable fabric, holding down teh grab and hitting jump would propel you from your position... I have high hopes for it...

now I don't know what got your panties in a twist, but man... we're here to enjoy the game, remember the motto?.. Play. Create. Share. well, I played, I created and I shared, but you, you're just griping selfishly...here's your sign...welcome to it.

I actually somewhat agree with Ray. This game is a game based on the gamer and not the company who made it. it's like giving the Doom team or Half Life team credit for every mod ever made.

Also, there is a little too much moderation. From what I've seen, they pulled the God of War something Skull. that was a fun and well created level.

also FYI, The VGAs Suck. I've attempted to watch every year, and stop watching within 10 minutes. It doesn't appeal to gamers, it's Spike + video games, which means 90% half-naked Women, UFC, Celebrities, Meat and 10% Gaming.

Now, it seems Ray-z-Ray has caused a lot of conflict due to his post; but we have to remember that he is entitled to his opinion. He is just trying to goad this reaction out. Why else would he place a negative comment about LBP on an all LBP website? He should know what the reaction would be.

I do not agree with him at all, I love this game and think it is excellent, but we shouldn't respond with extremely negative comments. You can just disagree. Act more mature! (Which is kind of ironic, since I am probably younger then most people on this site.)

Now, on topic...

I really like LBP, but I don't like Spike Tv's VGA. I don't think they have any authority to hand out awards for video games. I agree with Rictor, Spike TV is more about 'guys' and that means a lot of nonsense.

Relax people.
This game is Super addictive.
You can create all kinds of Contraptions.

I created a Working Score Board with LED style Digits that Scores up to 99.
I have used it in a Hockey Level and a Soccer (Futbol) Level so far.
Next I am going to make a Basketball and Football (American Football NFL) style game using my Scoreboard. It took all 8 magnetic key switch colors and 4 wheels with a Shot-Pin style mechanism triggered by the Ball or Puck to Increment the 1s Digit wheel, which in turn Increments the 10s Digit wheel when it Rolls over.

That is what is so cool about Little Big Planet in my Opinion is the Creativity Possibilities.

Wow, I just lost 19 days of data for no reason. I turned it on and had none of the costumes I had gotten in the last 19 days, including my YellowHead costume, my pride and joy. I don't know why the save file was reset to the save of November 1st, a mere week after the game was released, but it was and now I'm very angry there isn't a Save feature in the menu because they damn Autosave **** randomly pops on and off.

So thanks MM, for everything you've managed to ruin in the past month.

I had no doubt that this game would win some awards or some type of recognition.


BTW not complaining, but that really suks that only people in the US can enter for the B-Day contest.
LBP is as far as some1's imagination, it should not be limited to only a select imaginations. Others might have ideas on this but dont have any incentive for contributing. I think that was a bad call but I understand the reasons.
LBP-_*100% is my goal!

I just tried voting for LBP but after the first page all I get is a dumb error saying I need a newer version of Flash. I installed the newest version and nothing. Is Microsoft trying to keep me from voting? I have mediocre Windows Vista. Maybe I'll try my PS3 Web browser. Does it work with Flash?

I think of myself as a very hardcore gamer, and let me tell you that this may be the greatest game I've ever played. This may be the only game I ever need, unless a second one is due which I'll be looking froward to. This is a complete revolution from a fresh new company. You guys are great, a new series is born!

To MM and everyone, this game is just plain awesome and fun. It is unique in every way. However, I believe that concerning GOTY and PS3 Game, it will not win. It's contenders are what you call old timers. They have a fanbase to begin with and alot of history as well. MGS4 to me will win GOTY and PS3 Game. In terms of studio, soundtrack and score. I see no reason why LBP will lose.

Im so proud! LittleBigPlanet actually getting the credit it TRULY deserves.

Studio of the Year - I think MM will have a good chance, but Rockstar may give them a run for their money.
Game of the Year - I truly think MGS4 should win this one, but LBP is a close second, then again we should watch out for friken GTA 4.
Best performance by a human male - I think LBP should win! HILARIOUS
Best Original Score - Sorry, MGS4 should win
Best PS3 Game - Close tie with MGS4 for me
Best Soundtrack - HANDSDOWN A WIN for LBP
Best Graphics - I would say maybe a win, Gears of War and MGS4 are good contenders.

AGAIN, Congrats LBP! This is AMAZING!
