Since its introduction, the LittleBigWorkshop has been a great tool for the LBP community to share user generated content and provide feedback. We’ve been keeping our eyes on the videos and images posted, and we’re constantly astounded by the types of levels and designs that you guys create.
We’ve also been amazed at the amount of videos that you guys created to educate one another on using the Pop-It tools. Everything from a narrated “how-to” video on creating a level / object; to creating an actual level within CREATE to provide step by step instructions with SackBoy.
The videos below are just some of the examples that really impressed us:
Featured Creations
Automated Randomizer and Other Goodies
Brought to you by Reinheart, the Automated Randomizer is a brilliant example of what simple switches and magnets can create. Taking the manual randomizer he previously created, Reinheart is evolving his creation into a 4 player mini-game; but don’t expect him to tell you exactly what the game is just yet. You’ll have the watch the videos for hints on what the game might be.
Hotdog Tank Avenger
A highly creative war based level created by PenguinHero and DeadCell34. They constructed a full mobilized Hotdog Tank with an active hatch and gun turret. Objective of the level is simple, GUN down enemy soldiers and make it to home base. Best of all, it requires two SackBoys to operate; a gunner and driver.
LittleBigRallyCars
We’re a big of LBP racing, so we just had to call this Workshop out. Covertaction created a rally car race level with various ramps and obstacles to increase the difficulties. Up to 4 players can race at one time, and each vehicle has forward and reverse motion gears. Let the race begin!
Featured Workshops
How to make a wall climbing / jumping vehicle
Jemi-maru creates a tutorial on how to make a vehicle that climbs walls and jumps.
Workshop: Pointers
OrangeTroz shows us how to use jetpacks to create a mouse pointer interface.
How to Create an “Or” Switch
Ever want to have one switch turn one thing on while turning the other off? Themanchicken shows you how it’s done.
If your creation was not featured this time around, don’t despair. We’ll be selecting key Workshop Spotlights to be featured on the LittleBigWorkshop page constantly, so keep creating. Remember, the more information about how the levels/objects were created, or what inspired you, the more likely you’ll be selected as a featured Workshop or Creation.
