If you haven’t seen our recent post on the PS Blog, we have new DLC content coming to the store this Thursday.  But this isn’t just a regular DLC, included in this week's update is the SackBoy costume designed by the US winner of the "LittleBigChallenge 003- Official in-game SackBoy Costume Contest", "nebu1ou5" from Rydal, PA,

Congratulations to "nebu1ou5" on your great design, and thanks to everyone who entered the challenge!

Loco Rocos are kickass! Bu I really think you should have stayed more loyal to the original Sack-in-the-Box concept. But its free so whatever. Oh and can you guys please work on getting World of Color back on the cool levels page? kthxbai

Those are LocoRoco ones are cute, but they are a bit too pricy for a simple cosmetic upgrade. Until the costumes that cost money start having an effect on gameplay, I'll just stick with the free ones.

i really like the free one, congrats to nebu1ou5. im not really a locoroco fan and i didnt really like those, but when my ps3 gets back im gonna get all of last week's costumes and all the free ones

this is a start to making up for the moderation... weekly DLC is sick.

P.S. Not nagging but for the paid ones i think there should be a unique skin, head accessory/hair, mouth, pants, top, and torso accessory to make each one worth it (Shark costume i'm looking at you!)

I like how the TV costume only slightly resembles what nebu1ou5 originally designed.

LocoRoco costumes are AWESOME (and further prove how cheep LBP's fans really are).

Definitely should have stayed truer to the sack-in-a-tv. Maybe not go all out with the cord , controller and body, but I definitely would have kept the skin. The Loco Roco skin pack is on par with the previous weeks skin pack...not worth it.

the sack in a box should definately of stayed closer to the original but i will always get freebies got the animals last week though i wont bother with the loco roca ones and also about the first week t-shirt its not worth buying anyway im in london and we had it on psn but its a waste of money anyway loving the weekly dlc

Rex, I don't know how you made those costumes, but they are phenomenal! Amazing work!!! Also, won't buy a costume until Seph or Snake, the animals last week were cute but not that cute.

Rex, impressive! I've been working on creating my own costumes, but nothing comes near that stuff. If you have any tips, especially regarding getting even color without bleeding over in small areas. Let me know or... better yet it would make an awesome video clip.

LOL, I sent a PM to an editor at IGN and asked if they were planning on doing a follow up review on LBP since it was given such high praise prior to release then given a 9.5 during the week of release.

I was told that they have been flooded with emails about the concerns with Online Play, Over Moderation , Deleted user creations.

A new follow up will be in the Jan Issue... I cant wait to see how they pick this game and it's devs apart.

Im not bashing nebu1ou5 but I think there were much more creative submissions. What really gets me is that they then simplified your design. If this is really there favorite design then shouldn't they make it exactly the same to the best of their ability. I know its for free but if the fans of the game are willing to put the time and effort then they should do the same. Sorry nebu1ou5 congratulations on wining the contest anyway.

You should have been more loyal to the original concept. It is missing something… but it’s free, so it’s ok.

These weekly costumes are nice, I do agree that you should get more out of it that just a skin when you pay money, but all and all still doing a good job. Like most people I was unhappy with the Sack TV not looking like the art nebu1ou5 did such a wonderful job at. Since I love making custom skins I made 2 stickers to fix it.

The nice thing about the LocoRoco costumes is that four of the five LocoRoco hair styles are universal with all Sackboy skins. Even though the yellow LocoRoco hair, is labelled as being yellow, it'll match the current Sackboy skin that you are using. The same goes for the blue, pink, and black hairstyles, too. The one for the red LocoRoco is just a brown cardboard-looking style.

I think the costumes are too much. Just because we can afford PS3s doesn't mean we're high class! I mean $.99? I'd buy them for $.75 each, but not $.99. That's just way too much for virtual costumes. My mom & dad won't buy them because of that. They think it's pointless. Frown Sony is cheap!

Anyway, I'm still happy with the game. Smile The only thing that bothers me are those prices... :I
