In case you’ve missed our update last week, in celebration for the Lunar New Year celebration that officially begins 1/26; we’ve got matching SackBoy and SackGirl Chinese New Year Costumes for FREE on the PS Store.

But don’t wait, much like the celebration of the Chinese New Year, this seasonal costume is available for 10 days only, and it may never be available again.

I feel bad for whoever doesn't go to this site and see these upcoming epic updates! But I guess it's kind of good since then it will be more rare since less people would have it. I guess it's a win-lose scenario.

lol well umm...idk if it was because of the 1.08 update but it seems that i got the save glitch...again. i deleted my account before and got everything over again and now its back so yay for me!!!

I hope these go up in the Japanese store too. I know it may sound like a crazy hope to some of you, but considering no songs from the only Asian Disney princess' (Mulan) movie aren't in karaoke, it wouldn't surprise me to see SCEJ give a big middle finger to across-the-sea-related content.

I truly wish that Mm would patch the size limit. I have 40 GB with 13 GB of space left that I would gladly give entirely to LPB. Iv had to deleted stuff that I got from playing online levels and some of my own. I have 7+ levels and Its geting harder to make more levels, stuff, save, or have fun. I have a grate story that Im trying to tell, (Solid Snake Bros. the last fight). Its story of Solid Snake and his mission to find Mario after his has gone missing. Mario was on his way to rescue Princess Peach. But its been 24yrs when he left and now Snake is to go thru each level that Mario went in to, to find clues of his where abuts and to restore the missing stars back to the Mushroom kingdom. We know that King Bowser has had some time to of gotten tecknology out of this world.
Mm, I beg you patch the size limit, you can do it. If not let me know.

does the little big planet in game store update before the ps store i know that i should know this since i play lbp all the time

they need a r2 pack with nathen hale and dadalus that would be awsome and mabey guitars not that you can play but just to wear so mu could make a sackstar lol

Total_Broo: the 26th is yesterday... And the costumes are already in there, also the ps store updates on Thursdays, which for this week would be the 29th.
Even though Seel Mage got a bad rating, he's right, w/ downloadable content the save file issue is pertinent to this thread imo. Since the PS3 is an 'expandable' system (hard drive wise) we should be able to allocate as much space as we want to LBP, the MGS pack caused my system saves to revert b/c the save file became to big; had to go and delete all the garbage from user created content in order to finally (after the 6th time) beat and save the MGS stages.
Three things really need attention in LBP:
1- Allow the player to 'accept/reject' prize bubbles on User created levels, or have an easier method for deleting them (ie from the pod itself)
2-Voluntary hard drive allocation, so that those of us w/ big ol' hard drives can create and save as much as we want.
3- A warning system that tells the user that they are close to 'save file corruption/overload' so we don't quite out and come back to find that everything we did was lost.
Anyone or all of those three would make playing and enjoying LBP necessary as far as I'm concerned, and many others that I've talked to. Nobody likes to see a 'data corrupted' message when they boot up LBP.

Mentalsplatter is 100% dead on. i logged on here today expecting to say the same thing, then i saw that he alrdy wrote it for me Smile But for real i have deleted all my prize items from user created lvls and deleted some of my hearted lvls and still everything does not save. new hearted lvls save but then i loose the most recent one that i just hearted. whats the deal with that?when i log on, my costume is never the way i left it. all these things are a huge concern to me because when you "Mm" make us delete things that we need for our lvls that we create then whats the point of creating in the first place. at the end of maxing out memory space for the game we have to delete them anyway, we shud be able to dedicate as much memory to this game as we please. this game has sooooo much potential and its not using it. dont get me wrong this is by far one of the greatest games ever made. but just imagine how great it wud be if we could actually save whatever we want. i mean is that so much to ask? please fix this Mm please.

mm is fxing guys they r fixing it in a patch coming in feb called eden or something and eden wasn't the one that was yesterday the one tht was yesterday was just for the kratos pack so the people who already got it could see it in the little big store page

Looks like Sony are keeping their seasonal content available for potential re-release annually.

Since it "may" never be available again, but that doesn't say that it definitely won't.

Not saying that's a bad thing.
Just saying that people shouldn't be too surprised if they see this or any other seasonal content being re-released in the future.

I can't wait for that patch, the failed to load profiles error will be getting fixed as well. Now those of us to lowered our MTU to 1492 won't have to keep it like that, we can finally enjoy the game like everyone one else!

My only problem with this game is the online feedback system , people seem to be abusing it ! levels get taken down , people leave negetive feedback just because they can ! Please fix this issue ! People spend alot of time creatig (alot of time) only to have their creation bashed by jerks ! And i have played some excellent levels that had only one star ! There should be more limitations on people abusing it !

I got the free costumes, thank you very much; quite creative. I noticed that we had to download a new patch, so i thought the glitch would go away, so i downloaded the update, deleted all my objects, saved costumes, and photos, and i even deleted a level online and offline. Sadely... saving glitch didn't go away, everything i deleted came back EXCEPT the online level i deleted, the online level stayed, but offline, it came back. I have a SERIOUS issue here, so please help me out, i really don't want to use my other PSN and beat the game again because then i'll have to change accounts everytime i want to play resistance or little big planet, also i dont want to re-add my friends. Please find a cure for this issue, and no; deleting stuff doesnt work, they all just keep coming back to my profile.

While my published levels stink, compared to others, my son has published several levels under my screen name and they're just dandy. They are simple childish lvls because he's only 8 years old. In the description it says something like "published by 8 yr old, please be polite, no bad language please." I have been very surprised that only one moron has not respected our request out of a couple hundred. On the whole I think LBP players are fair minded and decent enough people.

What you're describing is some kind of thought policing that just has no place in a free world such as the internet. The only way to do this is to charge and make it an exclusive club with a prescribed code of conduct which I think flies in the face of what this game stands for. If you're going to put your creativity out there, you have to be prepared for rejection. You have to realize that when you take a risk you might be disappointed. Try to look at your work for what it is...maybe it's just no good, for real. Very few people will rate something a "1 star" and call it "rubbish" just because they can.

Please make more prize bubble levels Mm. Can't wait for the Groundhog!!!

is anyone having this problem: ever since i downloaded that new 1.08 patch, i went to one of the stages that helps u create costumes with stickers, and when i finished turned off the game then came back only like two of them had saved!!! and i made like 5, i dont understand it!!!!!!

It's due to an issue with you user account getting filled up with community content. Google LBP and 'save bug' for more information. This problem has rendered the game pretty much useless to me. I deleted all my community content but like 5 things and have been trying to ace all levels, however after beating one I will exit, it doesn't get save (b/c of the bug) and so I have to play it over again. This is making the game no longer fun for me, I hope they fix it.

Alright peeps this is how the save BUG GLITCH ISSUE BLAH BLAH.... works. In game u have a nifty little thing called a pop-it everything I mean EVERYTHING with a few small exceptions ie. Hearted lvls and creators is saved in the magical pop-it. This pop-it has a set space and once this set space is filled thats it no more saving. Furthermore for u ones that want to ace every single lvl and get every single item u are s c r ewed after collecting everything the reason being is that unlike community items u can delete form ur moon the in game items are not deleteable, and to add injury to insult if u like to download all the DLC aswell as ace and collect everything as then ur pop-it is going to fill up quick. Sorry to be so blunt but until MM or Sony extends space for the pop-it do not I REPEAT DO NOT ACE AND COLLECT ALL IN GAME ITEMS TO INCLUDE ITEMS AND ACES IN METAL GEAR PACK or else u r going to kill ur pop-it space and then ur GAME WILL NOT SAVE so pick and choose what items u want for now sorry to say this but that is just how it is until there is more space added to the pop-it.

I always rate nice comments on levels, the only time i would give 1 star and a negative comment is when the level was a true waste of time, and they actually put something negative about the people who play the level, inside the level; Other than that, all positive comments. If i spent time making levels that hopefully people would like, then i would want no negative comments, so thats what i give to people, no negative comments.

freezing happens sometimes ,not as bad as 360 though, try to use an emitter on an empty level. I started this game over on a new account because of all of the problems ,i think im kind of over it ,but theres no other game like it! So much time spent ! I dont know what to do?

dude... chill out..... and, not to brag or anything, but i'm really lucky!!!! i've never had the save glitch once!!!! here's my trick: every time you get the message - Profile is too big - or whatever, clear out all your community objects and all your objects that you don't need! Plus, you may want to un-heart some of your stuff - I mean, why heart all the objects you made anyway? Just wastes space.

Also - I forgot - you need to try not to ace all the levels - like the other guy, DisturbedTink said, ( nice name ) only the ones you really need to ( this might be kind of hard, so I just aced all the ones I needed to get some cool costumes. Oh, and all the levels in The Gardens, of course. Got most of those on my first try, LOL. ( I was in the beta ). Plus, I aced the MGS levels. I can tell, my PopIt is pretty much full, but I have an offline level ( which will be open to the public soon ) that is like a mall and has all my objects there ( which is a lot ) so I can just go there anytime I need one of my objects. So that way, my PopIt never gets full! Maybe when they come out with the next level pack.... Does any one know what it is???? I'm definitely
going to buy it, even if it was a Lair pack ( which would be kinda sad, LOL. )

I agree that these items are pretty amazing, but I was wondering when the God of War mini pack comes out, and since they are making the God of War mini pack a DLC will they do that with the Heavenly Sword Costume as well?

I'm talking about most levels w/ trademarks such as Mario or Snake will be moderated. A bunch of mine did. I had a Snake level, Mario level, Rock Band level, etc. They all got moderated.

So what happens ? Do they make you delete it or make it so you cant have anyone play it online ? If they do then why have a game that lets you create anything, but then have rules. I under stand if it is not appropriate stuff. But they supplied me with a MGS 4 pack full of stuff that I can use. Thats like saying here are the keys to your new Porsche, but you cant drive it. I will be having names in it such as Nintendo, PS3, Konami, LBP and my own in the opening intro level. Wolud that help ?

I don't think that some of the LBP costumes should only be availible through pre-orders, it is sooooo annoying because what if you don't like the game (shouldn't be a problem if this happens with Sephiroth.). Plus some costumes arent for sale very long, what if you top playing for a month? Then what? You could miss a few costumes. I hope there is a way to resolve this problem.

i dont like pre-order stuff when i dont get them lol, but i love it when i do ( i only got 1 pre-ordered thing ever ), but for littlebigplanet, i didnt pre-order because i thought it was going to be a stupid childish game, then i started looking it up and watched videos, i fell in love with my top favourite game ever (aside from the saving glitch i still have, couple more weeks till it goes bye bye =)

I hate the thing that says: "Your profile cannot be saved because it is too large. Try deleting unwanted items from My Pictures, My Objects, My Costumes or My Levels." Why should I? Its a game that lets you create cool and out of this world stuff. Its what daydreamers dream about all day and there is no limit to your imagination. Right? Patch the size limit, Mn. Thanks! ! !

I really like these costume for the SockBoy and SackGirl, It would be amazing though if Mm would brnig back the Nariko Costume back, It was be amazing, I would never miss out on that. Alot of people missed out on that one just like the GodOfWar.

Yeah I thought the same about LBP when I first saw it, and whoever I tell says "That looks idiotic." or something like that. But after I saw it more, alon g with my friends seeing it more, it looked amazing.

I think the next expansion should have sackboy swim! oorr climb stuff like mario when he's clmibing those net things. and punches it and goes to the other sidee. that would be so cool

Yeah, maybe not even swim but just plain old water making less gravity or something. And it would be cool it the foam materials were less dense than the water like water floaties. And maybe not switching sides of a fence but at least a net material or something along the lines of that. With net you could climb it or put it in water. A rock climbing wall would work as well as the net.
