Little Delay To LittleBigPlanet Content

We know you guys have been looking forward to the next batch of downloadable content which was due to launch this Thursday, 22 January. Unfortunately, we're not going to be able to release what we had planned at this time, so the wait is going to be just a little longer before the new year's content updates start to arrive. In order to make up for this disappointment, we thought you might like to see all the new content we've got lined up to come out between next week and the end of February, so hold on to your hats as there's quite a bit!

Seasonal content
To get the new year started in the right way we've got matching Sackboy and Sackgirl Chinese New Year outfits which will be available for free next week to help you celebrate the year of the Ox. At the same time you can also dress up as the world famous Groundhog in a bid to predict the length of winter. When February rolls around you'll have no excuse for forgetting to buy a card as we release a special Valentine's Day pack containing 12 stickers and some themed costume pieces for your Sackperson. Each of these downloads will be available for a limited time, so grab them while they're hot!

God of War Costumes and Stickers
If you missed out on the pre-order offers to get hold of Kratos and the God of War content pack here's another chance to get hold of an all time classic Sackboy costume. Inside the pack you'll find Medusa and Minotaur costumes and a bunch of themed stickers to help you recreate ancient Greece in your game.

Supersonic Sackboy
In February why not pick up the pace and splash out on the WipEout content pack. Containing the WipEout costume kit and plenty of stickers to add some flavour to your game this is a very cool pack indeed.

The week after the Wipeout Costumes come out the 26th im pretty sure that the killzone costumes are coming out! As for the Final Fantasy ones it will be a long time expect it around the time of Final Fantasy 13 release date and that wont be until December :"(!!!

All these downloads are good and everything but what happened to the patch that is suppose to fix the pop-it maximum reached level of your inventory? Why should we have to delete some of the stuff we worked so hard to get in the first place to make more room for new items. Since I started getting the message (around the santa hat, coat,boots and pants) I have not played my game and it really sucks to have put down my favorite game of 2008 because of a stupid glitch like that. So we ask again when will this be fixed or are MM & Sony going to tell us erase our save data to resolve the problem (which is still making us lose everything we worked for).

The Final Fantasy pack will most likely come out some time around the middle of march when Advent Children Complete is released. Anyone who does not know what this is it is the cgi sequel to FFVII that is going to finally be released on Blu-Ray format. Can't wait just my thoughts on release of final fantasy pack....

hay MM got a? ? all regions got there hands on the week 1 t-shirt and in north america whe hasn't got it yet so was woundering when we gonna get our fair share of the week 1 t-shirt like you guys promise ? i preorder lbp ,got delay till the 25 of october , got both nariko and kratos dlc . spend more psn dollers on lbp dlc then guitar hero and other dlc and been waiting for 2 months and 3 and a half weeks for the week 1 t-shirt. so plz answer me back . a lbp fan to the creater of creater . also yes im still gonna get the dlc thats comeing soon .

i understand that kratos was a little too popular to be kept exclusive but they didnt need to include minotaur and madusa --_--

WE WANT NARIKO!!!!!!!!

I still say that they need sonic the hedgehog and ratchet and clank costumes.

Ummm. I still have the saving glitch. I tried 1 last time and deleted all my saved costumes, all my saved objects, all my saved photos, all community photos, all community objects, and reset pod decoration. The glitch still stands and all that deleted stuff came back into my pop it just to anger me more. I look on the site everyday for some more information on your cure for the glitch, but still the only cure is 'delete stuff'. Sadely, deleting stuff doesnt work for me, and i lost nearly all interrest for lbp, deep inside i want to create levels and make new costumes, but i cant because nothing saves... PLEASE fix the glitch, i don't want to make a new playstation account and get all the trophys (except the create trophy) all over again. Also, if i do make a new account, the glitch will only happen to that account too... so please, just make some sort of message saying that your working on a patch to fix it.

Yeah these are all great, but really? More delay? It's been over a month and now we have to wait more and for 2 free costumes? not a big dump of dlc? I love lbp and all but seriously, we were promised dlc EVERY week and i could see the wait for the month because of them wanting to take a holiday, but this is just ridiculous... and give us something cool btw! And as far as the KRATOS is concerned.. this goes back to what i was talking about.. Everybody that preordered at best buy should be able to download NARIKO then, what was the point of me preordering if i dont feel special now??? AND HOW ABOUT THE WEEK 1 TSHIRT??????????? PLEASE GIVE US ANSWERS! NOT JUST SUGAR COAT THINGS!

All of these new items look great and they are worth the wait. I'm really looking forward to the Killzone and FVII costumes. Hopefully we will see these in a pack similar to the MGS content. I believe that the Nariko costume is coming out soon. From what I hear it's on high demand so it would be a bad move not to. Since I preordered from Best Buy I don't have to worry about paying for it so that's cool. Anyway, great job Mm keep up the good work.

Sort of ruins the whole concept of pre-ordering LBP, doesn't it...I just hope Mm can dodge their way out of more instances like this, because, let us face facts, we've had the initial delay, server troubles, regular game troubles, and now a DLC delay. I'll keep you guys in my prayers then, just don't give up hope. =3

Guess I can't blame peope for being spoiled. Oh wait, yes I can.

Seriously people, get over yourselves. If you got the pre-order bonuses, they were free. Everyone else has to pay for them. You also got to use them for months before everyone else.

If you bought them on eBay, and now you're ****** that your 5, 10, 15, 20 or more dollar investment is worthless (or worth less), shame on you. If you loved the game that much, you should have saved your money to give it to the people who deserve it, the developers. Instead you just padded some price gouger's wallet, Plus, if you're here to complain, odds are you knew about this in advance anyway; Sam asked the community a while ago what conditions might make it acceptable for this DLC to be made free.

Are you also forgetting that some people just physically could not get the pre-order DLC? Japan, for example. Some of you are so selfish.

I can't wait to buy Nariko for 2 dollars.

I dont agree with you astronaut!! The people that want the preorder bonuses should only be able to get them for preordering or buying them from someone who has!! Why should they get the costumes for only 3.00 when some people were willing to buy them for more!! I dont agree with this but you are entitled to your opinion as well!!! As long as Nariko doesn't become DLC and stays preorder exclusive its cool! I hope they release Superbowl DLC after the Steelers win that would be awesome Go Steelers!!!!

Astronaut isn't crying, he's making fun of the people who are.. i'm not on any side. just making a point.. i want US to have week one t-shirt if possible still. I would also like people to quit fighting, i mean really look at yourselves. I believe everything that has ever came out for little big planet, should stay in PS Stores, and each Country should have equal oppoetunities on costumes.. no more country exclusive.. it makes people fight, kinda like now.. All except the exclusive "Holiday" ones should stay in stores so people who are just buying the game, love it that much more to have a copious amount of attire to choose from..

Ok, I dont want to sound mean here, but did you guys order LittleBigPlanet JUST for the stupid costumes? Did you not buy it to play the game? Who cares if the pre-order DLC is going to be on the Playstation Store? You can say that you had it for a full 3 months before everyone else got it! Be proud!

I was positive that this was going to happen.

1. The DL deadline would be up for the pre-order bonuses.
2. MM would announce they will become available on Playstation Store soon after.
3. People would cry about it for whatever the reason.

Seriously, look at it this way. I got the God of War pack from Gamestop (I wish I had Nariko also, but it's a matter of time and I never once bothered anyone about it) and I'm not upset at all that it's going to be available. I understand some people got the game over the holidays and we're upset they couldn't get the content.

To sit here and complain about it is just selfish and anyone doing so are probably the fools begging for GoW or Nariko for the past 3 and a hafl months.

Another thing, STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT DELAYS!!! The MGS4 DLC was rushed out to make people happy before they went on vacation and 80% of people were far from happy after the fact. Trust me MM isn't out to screw you or make you want to cut yourselves. Things take time, and they don't want to create more problems by rushing things out that you'll jump all over them to "FIX NAO!!!"

It's funny that many of the people who are complaining about me wanting pre-order DLC are the same ones clamoring for Ape Escape and Toro. It just shows that you a greedy and selfish - wanting what you don't have and complaining that someone else might get that which made you special.

Unfortunately, many of you are misinformed as to the nature of the Ape Escape costume. Let me put it this way: LittleBigPlanetoid is wrong. Japan didn't have any pre-order bonuses. The costume was reportedly going to be a "first printing bonus" but that never panned out. I actually have a code sitting in my game case, but I never needed it because anyone with a PSN ID was able to download it for free for 2 or 3 weeks after the game's release. This, in my opinion, was a better decision; this game is about community. No one (save for maybe crown-owners) should be made to feel more special, because we're all supposed to be special.Japan never got any chance at Kratoz, Nariko and SF still hasn't shown up. In spite of that, I'm happy to turn over our region exclusives to you guys because it's good for the game.

I'm just arguing that this is a game for everyone to come together as one big happy family. That's why I can't get my girlfriend to enjoy it as much as she enjoys a game where she can "beat me" (although once I taught her the slap she was pleased). You shouldn't be coveting your exclusive stuff, you should be eager to spread the love around. That's the point of LittleBigPlanet.

I do think it was a mistake for MM to let Nariko prices get out of hand, though. 40 bucks on eBay was just absurd. I've always said they made a great game and deserve to get that money, not an eBayer. At that point they should have announced it as a timed exclusive.

Regardless, we're paying for what everyone else in theory got for free. You're still ahead of the game.

you should look on the up side that you got to feel special for quite a while

or if you still want to be special why don't you ace all the levels (like i did) then you get to show off your gaming skills instead of showing off your cash

I know I'm gonna get flamed, but...I agree with astronaut with what he said in his last post. Alot of people were crying about Toro and Piposaru being unavailable in NA, and now they are all like "ZOMG GIMME!!! Bunch of hypocrites...

I don't understand why they are release Kratos pack. it totally defeats the purpose of the pre order. exclusive people understood you could only get it if you pre ordered it. it sucks that some people didn't get it. but that's how it is. there's going to be alot of exclusive rare costumes. I justs lame. they don't need the money..

Evryone needs to chill out and just injoy the game. Who cares who can aford what costumes. With the amount of useless stages constantly beeing posted it dont mater how nice your costume is if you dont even know how to play or create.

I don't understand why some of you are debating about Nariko and Kratos being DLC. Those of us with half a brain knew this day was definitely going to come it was only a matter of time. I own both and I really don't care if other people want to use the costumes, I mean I wanted Nariko because I like Heavenly Sword, and Kratos just came with the Gamestop preorder.

I think you all who are upset about your precious rare Nariko need to calm down and do as the poster above me suggested, because at the end of the day both Nariko and Kratos are still going to be placed up there as DLC.

oh and by the way, everyone who complains about delays, or no killzone or FFVII!! costumes (although they do need to come out. soon.) just shut up. they will come out when they come out. People complaining about releasing the pre-order stuff on the store. also shut up. You don't have to buy these costumes, and if you pre-ordered them, be happy!! You had them months before anyone else! So like i said, shut up and enjoy the game.

i just want to say everyone here is selfish!!! complaining because people can buy god of war pack? i mean cmon LBP is all about sharing. i think everyone should be able to have all costumes. why must everybody be mad be happy for the thing we got.... i preorder lbp got nariko and kratos dlc and at the same time i was passing out extra nariko and kratos dlc... its not about fighting its all about playing together and shareing together....anyways ive been waiting a lil too long for the week 1 t-shirt ... like i said all regions got there hands on but not north america so please week 1 t-shirt....its been 3 months already...anyways thx for the ape and toro dlc...

Everyone is talking about the pre-ordering business, I would be quite angry about it if i did pre-order it (although i didnt even know about pre-ordering bonuses) but i don't see anyone talking about the saving glitch. I think i'm the only one who still has it... or i think im the only one who keeps looking at this site for some answers about it. Anyways... Very nice DLC, and by the way, everyone who is impatient about DLC, think about it if you have a company that has to fix a saving glitch, and keep people calm about DLC, so the least you guys can do... is stay calm and keep things positive.
