Welcome back folks. Now that the smell of chocolate and mess of pink, white & red silly string around the house is gone (oh, was that just me?), wanted to let you know of some cool things around the world of LBP. 

 

LittleBigWedding

You might've remembered a few months ago we saw our first marriage proposal via an LBP user generated level. Over on the LittleBigWorkshop.com forums, DimmuJed, posted an update with a new announcement level.

Remember the level I made where I got engaged with a LittleBigPlanet level? Well now I made a level inviting you all to our wedding in LBP! We are going to have the actual ceremony inside of little big planet with a level on April 11th. You will be able to check out the level online, and the ceremony on a video come April 11th.

Congrats to the both of you, and let us know where you're registered... 

 

"Sack-tacular Levels" - LittleBigLove - by realil

Looks like "realil" fell in fell in love with the latest V-day mini-pack items and created a cool little level. We particularly liked the heart-shaped score bubbles, the 2-player challenge and the spelling of "LOVE." Great job.

Don't forget, today is the last day to download the Valentine's day mini-pack off the PlayStation Store.

Last week we introduced the 4" SackBoys to be featured at Toy Fair 2009 in NY. Okay, I thought the original intent of "SACK IT TO ME" was to answer lingering questions about upcoming patches and answer emails/comments that LBP gamers had.

Recently, the weekly "SACK IT TO ME" post is becoming more of an advertisement for items and light hearted news.

I liked it better when it was about answering or questions.

Like how are things going with "online create?" Or when were we ever see the "Ice Hazard"?

That's was "SACK IT TO ME" is supposed to be about.

No offence, but to be honest I don't care too much about that guy who's being married...I was expecting some news on the upcoming patches, the Killzone 2 and Sephiroth costumes and that kind of stuff...

But guess we'll have to wait for that!

Also, to keep inline with items we REALLY need to know for the next weeks "SACK IT TO ME" post. . .

1.) When will we get the PLAY SHARE CREATE stats back on the moon?

It's been over 2 months since you last spoke of this.

2.) When will we get PSN avatars for LBP?

3.) Also from the Media Molecule site, I saw a suggestion for a "Spectator Mode" where a level create and watch other people play their levels. That would be a great feature to include so we can so where levels would need improvements.

These are the types of questions we need answered for in "SACK IT TO ME".

We can see the DLC items you speak of in the PS Store update each Thursday at the PlayStation.Blog.

Don't waste a "SACK IT TO ME" post with news we can expect elsewhere.

in on of the photos for lbp ive seen a sack boy wearing an moto cycle dare devil outfit. not the moto storm helmet. the suit and helmut are white with 2 blue stripes with stars. where is this??? people do u know what im talking about?

I "Evil Kenevel" costume was featured in the debut video from GDC 2007. Maybe it will be a DLC costume. But ya, I know what you are talking about.

Love the Wipeout costumes. I do agree with what Pumapayam said though, it would be nice if you guys would answer some questions. I don't mind the advertisements though. I enjoy them.

This PSN, PearBear5, still has the saving glitch, but my new psn, ParryLBP, doesnt have the saving glitched (and i already aced and 100% every level, including the MGS) Hopefully the saving glitch doesnt happen again, but i'd prefer it if it went away on pearbear, because i always have to change accounts when i want to play littlebigplanet.

Meh, I didn't download the Valentine's Day pack. It seemed like a rip-off for the money, and it's just a costume and some stickers anyway.

Tikicobra, Valentine's pack is awesome, it has nice decorations like the bow which you can use to make enemies and yo put it in your sackboy's hand, and the wings which can help you making a nice sackboy angel.

You guys should put a 'limited-time only' warning on your DLC in the PS Store because I checked the Valentines Day Mini-Pack in the store the day it came out and saw no time warning. Now it's "gone forever" and I feel really sad for missing out on it...

Mind you, I've collected every peice of DLC so far... I love LBP. :,(

What about retrieving some of the free stuff???? my ps3 went haywire one day and i lost aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall my saved data!!! and i finished LBP and theres no way to retrieve the free little add ons like the chinese newyear and groundhog day and whatever else was free Frown

the only way to get the old dlc is to get someone who has it to share their psn account with you. and i doubt many people will. maybe when the holiday rolls around again next year?

Can you please bring back the Valentine's day pack? I really wanted to make an angel, and there wasn't a message for a dead line, i thought it'd stay on for a long time like all the other costumes.

I dunno if there's a proper place to do this, but I'd like to suggest new DLC, if I may; a Kingdom Hearts series. With all the new ones under development, I'm suprised I haven't heard anyone talking about it. Think about it- Axel, Terra, Ven, Aqua, a basic Heartless or Nobody-- it has a little for everyone, not to mention costume parts for people to creatively mix-and-match to get the perfect "fantasy-warrior" costume Laughing I think it'd be a real hit, I know I'd definitely rush out to buy it xD

Why even have a deadline at all? Why not leave the DLC up on the PS store? I would like to have more time to gather some cash for all the over priced costumes and level creation packs.

Please bring back the V-Day pack! It was the only one I missed.. Frown It'd really stink if I'll never get it again. Especially since I really badly want those stickers.
