LBP at NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth)

This weekend, Sackboy will be hitting the red carpet at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth at the Experience Music Project in Seattle, WA.

Attendees will get hands on with LittleBigPlanet in the Planet Illogica lounge and learn more about the how the game has transformed into a new storytelling medium for creative minds all over during “The Art of Storytelling in the 21st Century” workshop session this Sunday. On a previous post it said they had shirts available at kohls and i called 6 kohls and they didnt have them and then i went on the website and they arent there. when i was in wichita kansas i decided to check the hot topic even though that hot topic wasnt on the list but they had the black sackboy shirt, but i really want the white one too! Please make more MM and Sony

Anyone else notice sackboys boots in the builders pack picture, they look suspisious to me.....Im proably crazy but ive never seen those shoes and why have none of the other pictures on here featured sack boy with shoes on......Maybe there a new charecter enhancing shoe....gravity boots anybody? Tong i hope im not just crazy and it is some kinda hint thing...

LOL! Me and my friend got the Heavenly Sword pack even though we are boys...We love it! Sure we don't like the dresses, but the gloves and boots rock, Kai's hat&hair rule and the sword is the best!

Also Mm I have a great idea for you! You know how points don't really serve any true purpose... Well how about a shop! It's like the LittleBigStore we have right now only this one doesn't require money, only points! Another way this could happen is allow it to be a tool to use in our levels, so in the level you collect points, then use those points to buy things in a shop within that level.

haha yeah MM those creator pack levels were awesome! I actually started laughing on the infinite checkpoint one. i can get squished by a giant electric boot forever! yay!

I have a request for MM, add a recording function so us without fancy capture cards can record stuff, I have downloaded 2 games from the PSN store and BOTH of then have it (Rag Doll Kung-Fu and Noby Noby Boy (I have even used this funcion and uploaded 3 videos on youtube in Noby Noby Boy))

man littlebigplanet has to put another creator pack soon along with the invisble bike with some other items like an actual sackboy that you can customize,control, and make the sackboy do things.they should also put animated stickers. that would be cool

Wow thats some pretty sick gear... Hay since shools almost out, "or all redy out for those lucky ones" I think it would be sweet if sackboy could get a graduation costume with a diploma and everything. It would kinda tie up everything the sackboys and sackgirls around the world have done so far.

mm should make a bioshock or even uncharted level pack i repeat level pack not just costumes!!!! that would be a great seller and would be the best thing that ever happend to littlebigplanet. imagine being able to climb in the game like uncharted or walking in rapture that would be cool

If they ever put water into the game, Bioshock would be a perfect level pack to introduce the new element. Unfortunately, the game isn't a PS exclusive, and it ranks a bit outside of kid friendly, so the likelihood of it showing up in LBP is extremely slim. I realize that Street Fighter and Metal Gear break those two rules, respectively, but its still better not to get ones hopes up until Sam or someone shows off a Big Daddy costume.

On another note, how cool would it be to have one of those cobbled together Mr. Bubbles dolls like the Little Sisters have as an accessory for Sackboy?

the creator pack didn't work for me. I tried re install but nothing changes. theres no new tools or tutorials mm fix it please :-(

Ideas: Proximity switch should have a minimal proximity setting
Black player color should be available(look closely at the character customization video...)
the hood should change to player color

but there is a good chance of having uncharted especially when its a ps exclusive and my other favorite game.

I agree that there is always a chance, I'm just saying its best not to get one's hopes up.

On a side note, I was thinking about the whole stance regarding Mature content in LBP, and I got to wondering about the costumes and such. God of War, Resistance, Killzone, Metal Gear...those are all mature games. How on earth did they make it in? Weird.

you have a point all of those are mature in their games but in littlebigplanet they make it pretty harmless but i guess the developers just wanted to add a little touch to the game to show everyone that this game isnt just toys and dolls(no offence sack boy your really awesome) so it probably seems that they just wanted either more publicity or more cash which is a good idea.

you gius have wondered why they have a resistance costuem but not sitckers or a a mini/level pack?

i think they should have a Call of Duty Modern Warfare pack, even tho they made MGS pack, i think MW would make it better, an M4 carbine as a hand accesory?! awesome!!!
