I would love to see a matador costume and some cool stickers from spain... I dunno something a lil different. The Traje de Luzes would be cool with that awesome red cape!!! Just a thought.

mm may of had more golf challenges than they thought

but they should put in a mini pack later on with a golf club that sackboy can use and some stickers and a costume. it could be right around 2.99
but it should be free

okay, usually media molecule keeps me very happy with all of the dlc, but im starting to get frustrated with them. why havent they released the sephiroth costume yet, and why arent there any level packs? i know they released the creator pack, but it doesnt really count seeing as there isnt anything really "new" to mess with.

what about the ice hazard? that was such a good idea. its getting to the point where lbp is starting to bore me... just the same old stuff every day.

i may sound impatient and intolerant, but im sure many of you agree with me. ragdoll kung fu, egyptian mythology, and norse mythology were amazing costumes, but al lot of people including myself want more than costumes. i know you dont have to release dlc, but still... wasnt lbp supposed to be the game that kept its players happy because it was constantly changing? the metal gear solid stuff was released like 4-5 months ago. you're awesome media molecule, but we're all counting on you to keep releasing some awesome stuff, maybe besides just costumes.

your crazy about the shirt and crown stuff. Like I told you in the game. Get popular on the forums, be nice, stand out in the community or ask Milton_ Zep cuz he has a crown. As for the whole T shirt thing, They said it would be exclusive and it only came out in Europe. As you know I'm from America and didnt have a chance. MM should sell T shirts in america.

mm should put in a little save feature in a map if that level is really long that would be cool plus it would put you in the same place you have recently saved in a map.you would either start at the begginning or at your saved spot

-why dont you wait until the end of this week to start complaining?
-Mm is still releasing the DLC they promised. No more. No less.

-this weeks DLC has not been announced yet (though the judge dredd thing might b a clue). it will probably be up either tomarrow or tuesday.

- also Mm is probably working hard to fix all of these bugs we've all been experiencing. costumes disappearing, levels not loading, etc.
But it is extremely hard to find what causes these things to happen, (this is what beta-testers do before a game is released, however it is easy to overlook a problem, especially one that only occurs after the person has been playing the game for a long time.)

-what if the DLC they've been releasing has been causing these problems? if they release even more complex DLC(like a level pack or tools), the game will become so screwed up that it will b impossible to play

--just chill........don't be so impatient.

i love the new angle settings for the switches. helps create enemies or gun turrents. im currently working on a modern ninja lvl. I love the fallout 3 bomb lvls people have been releasing. extremely hectic. extremely fun. though there needs to b one where some of the pieces r not pasted together so that the untouched top pieces fall over when most of their base is gone.

actually, ARE they releasing the dlc they promised? its been, what.... about 5 or 6 months?

they also "promised" us that this game would not need a sequel because it was interesting enough already - due to the constant changes being made. whens the last time a major change was made? 4-5 months ago? how are they going to keep us interested if they arent releasing actual new gameplay content besides stickers and costumes?

dont even say that the user created levels are supposed to keep it interesting when only about 1 out of every 600 levels made are new and exciting. i tried to be polite about my last post, trying not to "complain," but to let media molecule know that their game is turning into just the same old thing every day.... run to the right, (occasionally the left,) jump, avoid danger, grab things, and step on the scoreboard. repeat process.

is it only me that feels this way? the only reason i get on anymore is for one of two reasons:

1. playing with the people i play with keeps it interesting (when they're on.)

2. to check for new dlc.

but its getting hard not to "complain."

-my point about the glitches is still valid
-try suggesting new ideas and getting people to talk about it here. it helps. it really does. if you just post all of the bad parts of the game then you start to hate the game even more. like compare your last post to the one i commented on. much more negative. i take the blame for starting that. this is what i was talking about though. i dont want this to escalate to the point where people hate the game just because there is no big DLC(hence your fairly high rating on your post). im done on this subject and im going back to suggesting ideas, cause this isnt a thread that should continue. feel free to join.


-SO back to the ideas. people seem to really like the idea of a gravity changing tool. would be very useful in many levels like space levels(obviously).
-im going to post my idea again.

well your right level packs are just well done maps and nothing more than things that are already in the game(saying you have bought the DLC power ups and materials)

i think Mm needs to add more shape templates for the materials. im tired of using the cut tool to, through painstaking trial and error, finally get the shape i want such as a curved ramp.

Okay, since people are starting to post ideas, I'll post a few.

My ideas:

- LocoRoco 2 level pack (this should include the 2 other LocoRoco costumes they forgot to add in the costume pack) Also a lot of music Wink

- Wind Blower; it could push or pull sackboy around!

- More LittleBigChallenges; I know I'm not the only one that enjoys them!

- A background changer: Like the lighting tool, but with backgrounds. (I know this would be difficult to create)

And here are some ideas I'm supporting:

i think the most badass thing media molecule could add to the game is another sackboy (as an item that you can tweak to do certain tasks or help you out or kill enemies or just follow you throughout the level. he should be customizable. also, he could be an enemy that tries to kill you.)

i am just tired of making enemies from cardboard.

they should put in power boots where you can jump even higher than before sounds borinng right but think of all the levels with power boots and it can be used with the paintanaintor and my idea of a recording would be sackboy with a video camera that he can use to either shoot a film in a way or take a picture. they should also put more music instruments and a very detailed picture if the instrument to make music

one more thing they should expand the amount of zones(3 in total) to maybe 4 or 5 at the most 6 but you can leave 3 as it is if you want but this idea does sound like it could be used for Little big planet 2 doesnt it.

-maybe it could be a "clone" power-up
-doubles all of sackboy's abilities. how high he can jump(clone throws you up for a higher jump), longer reach(clone grabs sponge, you grab clone), and of course the clone helps attack enemies.

@glitchcheat
-i think a fourth zone would be great! i have run out of space many times in the past because there r only three zones. however i dont think it should be any more than 4(it might become too confusing)

Some of the stuff thats being thought up is possible to create. for instance snow is easy just make small pieces of floaty with a small amount of cardboard (for weight) make it white and theres some snow. rain can be made by using paint balls. also to add more layers to the game would make it more interesting but its not likely even in a second lbp. if you think about it alot of these idea's can be made without mm help just give it some thought.

id like to see a bioshock bigdaddy costume Tong, failing the copyright lawa an old school divers costume would be ace i reckon.
however as i see it the judge dredd DLC opens LBP up to alot more DLC from other companies e.g DC, marvel, maybe even lucasarts but if these companies see the judge dredd selling who knows they may jump on the bandwagon.

-i agree with you. as i posted before, if someone wants something to be made into LBP they need to ask themselves how it is different from just using the current materials or tools.

-however the idea has to be at least a little like something else in LBP, to make the idea possible to make for DLC. as we have discussed in previous posts, we decided that water idea where it changes shape would require more programming than can be included in DLC.

-this is why im suggesting my goo idea. similar to sponge and dissolve(so it uses similar coding), but different in that sackboy doesnt have a choice in grabbing it

the only thing i dont know about is the boots. a lot of people have said things like that and they have also come up with other "super powers". i dont think there should be any power ups that affect sackboys actions directly. i just feel that it would take away from the feel of the game. but thats just my opinion.

A few things in my opinion that LBP should bring back.
Ice- for anti stuck just make it if you are frozen and touching ice for lets say 5 seconds you died

In game build zones- It could be great for puzzles and load of fun as long as you have a redo button and when you leave what you made goes away for an anti cheat.

The ability to stand on each others shoulders- It was a cool idea and it could be fun, but it would ruin some already made lvls.

I mean they were taken out so it wouldn't be to hard to put it back in. they could help with puzzles or in the next new map pack or creator pack.

Mm thank you for a great game (its awesome) and im definately getting the PSP version in the fall is their any chance u guys can hint when LBP 2 is coming out? PLEASE! 2009 or 2010???? THANKS!!!!!!

Am I the only one who would like it if MM shed some light on the Sephiroth costume from FF7, Im not buying anymore packs until it comes out (because I only have enough money left for 1 $5.99 one and my dad wont give me anymore xP)

the ability to stand on each others shoulders wouuld be awesome for splinter cell levels or sneaking levels

When Final fantasy Xlll comes out LBP definitely needs to come out with a Final Fantasy costume pack (stickers included). I Think LBP would make some serious money off of this pack. Plus, I know the fans would apperciate it.

-this is why i say that obraznayr's idea should be a clone power-up

-this way you could control it. walk thru the power-up and a sackboy copy is created wearing your current costume(should satisfy obraznayr's want to customize the sackboy copy).

-doubles all of sackboy's abilities. how high he can jump(clone throws you up for a higher jump), longer reach(clone grabs sponge, you grab clone), and of course the clone helps attack enemies.

-also i personally want more memory towards placing stickers, so that when im creating a custom costume i can place more stickers and other things before they start to disappear

Sorry to buzz into the conversation but why put stickers on your sackperson when Mm should make the costumes we are putting the stickers on our bodies for. I know most people are saying Mm is busy but seriously I want to look like Spider-man without all the stickers.

1. its called copyright laws
2. most of my custom costumes have nothing to do with any existing movie or game. they're completely original and they just end up looking really really cool when i make them.

i agree. i get annoyed when making costumes because of the limited stickers. thats a VERY good idea.

So I was shocked earlier to find out... THERE IS LIMITED SPACE IN "Saved Costumes" PAGE! Shocking ain't it? I never knew you were limited in saving costumes... I just deleted the ones I don't you which were practically DLC. Soo yeah. Now, I wanted to ask, when is that Final Fantasy thing coming out? Not the costume, the thing that people are saying that will come out and then the costume (if that makes sense.) I'm a bit "iffy" about the clone thing. Don't you think it goes into some other type of game? It seems cool and all.. but I don't know if its LBP. Ya know what I'm saying? All in all, I really just want to see future DLC Laughing

you ever have one of those levels where you had to die in deadly gas to look like you teleported somewhere else well i was thinking teleportation(looks like a starting point) where it can **** you somewhere else without having to die and it could be tweaked and a option to make anything turn electric and back to its original form and can be used with fire and deadly gas.

However, not everyone can afford to buy costume packs willy nilly(that means whenever they want).
